Ice Cream Social-July 3rd
Come and support the band Ice Cream Social on July 3rd from 6-9PM at the Brunswick Recreation Center with a special concert from our own Brunswick Community Band at 7PM and fireworks to follow! What a great night of entertainment!!

We are hosting 5 major events in the month of July and we need donations for each of them. Please review the list and if you can help donate something please contact Sheryl Boyer for when and where to bring them. Parent help is also needed for all these events. Please offer if you can help!

Uniform Fitting Information
ALL students need to be fitted for their marching, concert and jazz band uniforms.
UNIFORM FITTING SCHEDULE is posted now. It is important not to miss your scheduled time! Any conflicts contact
Sheryl Boyer immediately!
There is also summer uniform attire available, $17 for shirt and shorts. A limited number of shorts will be available on June 20th. We will have a full stock on June 27th.
Uniform fees vary based on each students enrollment in different bands. You can get your Uniform Order Form here. Payment is due at uniform fitting or summer uniform pick up. All checks should be made out to BBPO or cash is accepted also.
Can you help?
We can use people to help to get the uniforms ready for pictures. Raincoats and garment bags need washed and sewers are needed for hems and more difficult altering.
Helpers needed to prepare everything for uniform fittings the week of July 13th. Please e-mail Sheryl Boyer or call 330-321-2281 if you can help in any of these areas. Thank you!

2009/2010 Marching Band Season is here!
It is exciting to be starting a brand new season for the Marching Band! There is a new practice schedule that will be more effective in teaching our students. The contest tour schedule will be posted soon on the official band website, but here are a some of the highlights!
--Saturday, October 17th - Bands of America Regional Championships, Massillon, OH
--Saturday, October 24th - Brunswick Sound Spectacular Marching Band Competition, 4PM in Brunswick
--Thursday, November 12th through 14th - Bands of America Grand National Championships, Lucas Oil Stadium, Indianapolis, Indiana
Let's all support our students with record attendance at all their contests!
The first practice of the season consisted of our NEW members and the leadership group on June 6th with a picnic that followed. Welcome to all NEW members!

- This website is packed with all the current information.
- We send out Weekly Update e-mails that remind everyone what are the hot topics of the week. We highly recommend you to be added to that e-mail distribution. You can do that by contacting: Diane Arnica, darnic@aol.com.
- We hold monthly BBPO meetings for all our parents/guardians. These meetings take place the first Tuesday of each month except in July. This is a good place to meet other parents and meet the board members up close and personal.
- Don’t forget to check your child’s backpack and pockets regularly. There are often flyers sent home with your band student with important information you need to know.
